KVAL Television signed on the air on April 15, 1954. Throughout the years, KVAL has been an innovative leader in broadcasting is Western Oregon. KVAL broadcasts four hours of local news each weekday and has received the prestigious “Best Newscast” award from Oregon Associated Press three consecutive years.
