Univision Seattle is a full power television station that first aired on in January of 2007. The station’s commitment to be the primary source for local Spanish language content to Western Washington Latinos is part of the framework of excellence that has been established by the Fisher broadcasting family for the past century. The cornerstone of its Spanish language programming is its affiliation with Univision network. The premier television network serving the US Hispanic community. Univision is one of the top five networks in the US regardless of language and the most-watched Spanish-language broadcast television network in the US reaching 95% of US Hispanic households.

In addition to our Univision network programming, Univision Seattle is proud to produce the only Spanish language local newscast in Seattle. Noticias Univision Seattle with Jaime Mendez and Teresa Gonzalez airs Monday through Friday at 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. In 2011 Univision Seattle also re-signed a multi-year agreement with the Seattle Sounders FC to broadcast a portion of the 2011-2012 games in Spanish on Fisher’s digital channel (THIS-TV). An additional component to this agreement is the broadcast of a weekly highlight show, Sounders FC en Acción, on Univision Seattle throughout the course of the Sounders’ season.

Univision Seattle is also active in the Latino community working closely with many organizations in the region and as a media sponsor of the Hispanic Seafair, Toys for Tots and NW Harvest
