Yakima is a unique city…centered in its own ‘Sun Valley’ and centrally located in Washington state with access to 3 major cities within 2-3 hours by car. The climate is mild and dry.  Summers are hot, while the winters cool with light snow from being on the leeward side of (and only 30 minutes from) the Cascade Mountain range.  Great outdoor activities abound, such as, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, river rafting and sun bathing.  Cost of living is lower than most regions of the Northwest.  Transportation is easy and it is the center of Medical Care for the Central part of the state.
